Using specialized battery-powered robotic harvesting equipment, we physically remove unwanted lake weeds, grasses, algae, and other aquatic vegetation without introducing gasoline, diesel fuel, or engine oil into the water.

Why Choose Clearwater
Clearwater Lakes utilizes specialized robotic aquatic harvesting equipment that is rarely available in our region. Rather than relying solely on conventional hand-removal methods such as rakes, our remote-controlled harvesters are designed to cut, collect, transport, and offload unwanted aquatic vegetation efficiently.
Our harvesting equipment can cut vegetation as deep as approximately four feet below the water's surface. An integrated sickle-cutting system cuts unwanted grasses, weeds, moss, and other aquatic vegetation while a conveyor system simultaneously collects and loads the material. The collected vegetation can then be transported and offloaded through the harvester's conveyor system.
Clearwater Lakes personnel also use additional tools and removal methods when needed to address shorelines, areas around docks, confined spaces, and other locations the robotic harvesters cannot effectively reach.
We Don't Just Cut It, We Remove It.
One of the biggest differences in the Clearwater Lakes approach is physical removal. Some methods kill or cut unwanted growth but leave the organic material in the lake or pond. As that material decomposes, nutrients can be recycled back into the aquatic environment and can contribute to conditions favorable to additional algae and aquatic plant growth.
Our process cuts, collects, and removes unwanted material from the water, reducing the amount of harvested biomass left behind to decay. Once removed and properly composted, harvested organic vegetation can be repurposed as a nutrient-rich soil amendment for gardens, landscaping, and other appropriate
